TDAC Software Inc. is proud to announce that the Beta 3 version of
the product "Java E-Mail Client Libraries for POP and IMAP" is now available for
evaluation and downloading.

This Beta version offers:

- runs as a standalone application or an embedded applet
- full class documentation
- support for POP (port 110) and IMAP2 (port 143) and IMAP4 (port 143)
- support for SMTP for sending mail messages
- SAVE & PRINT messages (including from within Netscape!)
- read message headers (including POP mailboxes)
- read messages using 'next' and 'previous'
- delete/undelete messages from the mail server
- reply to messages
- compose and send new messages

Please feel free to visit our site and pick up the latest copy
of the code. The Netscape Security restriction (sandbox) is still
in effect so you will need to install it on your own server to
allow you to connect to your mail server. Of course, running as
a standalone application, you will have no security restrictions.

The site is: http://www.tdac.com

This Beta version will expire on March 31, 1997. At which point,
the libraries will be available as a commercial product. Price
is yet to be determined.

If you would like your name removed from this list, please
reply to this message with a subject or message body of 'REMOVE'
and you will be promply removed.

Thanks for your interest in TDAC Software Inc.'s Java E-Mail Client.

PS: Please don't ask about Microsoft IE 3.0. The applet was NOT tested
using this product due to the number of bugs still present in Microsoft's
implementation of the JVM.
